原理

本法用以测定透明与不透明产品的度,它是在已知的温度下,利用液体本身的重力流动性(gravity-flow)来测定一定体积的液体通过经校正后的毛细玻璃管度计所需的时间。根据所测出的动力度可计算出公制度或绝对粘度(dynamic viscosity)。

方法概要

取一定体积的液体在严格的温度与固定的液面高度的控制下,使其流经毛细管度计而计算其流经时间。根据流经时间与度计的校正常数的乘积即可得动力粘度。

所需仪器:

1. 度计: 校正过后的玻璃毛细管,其所测得的度能符合于所要求的复验准确度再试准确度。

2. 粘度计支架: 能将粘度计在恒温槽中架持稳固,且能使其垂直竖立。

3. 粘度计调温槽: 内盛装透明液体,能使样品于度计内较液面低20mm以下,或高于槽底20mm以上,能保持槽内温度的变动于15至100间低于±0.02的变化,在此温度范围以外,亦不超过±0。05℃的温度变化。

4。 测温器: 检验动力度计的温度计内盛有适当的液体,使之能符合温度范围,温度计使用前均需校正,校正后准确度在±0.02℃,若其它测温器有上述的精确度时亦可采用。

5. 定时器: 秒表或弹簧装置的定时器均可使用,但其刻度至少在0.1秒,其测定200秒至900秒的误差在±0。07%以内。
